The Hotel is very good: excellent furniture, comfortable, great space on the room, clean bathroom. Next to Eaton Center, to the big stores. I really recomend it.
The staff were very helpful, good location and the hotel was very clean.
Location, location, location. If you want to be a stones throw from the Eaton Centre and where everything is happening then the Hilton is an excellent choice. Breakfast was included in our room price but even if you had to pay, it is great value eat as much as you like. The lady on the front desk has an abundance of information on where to go and how to get there. Highly recommended.
The rooms could be a little brighter but wouldn't put me off going back.
The location was wonderful for everything specially shopping. There is also Pizza Hut just down stairs and lots of halal food restaurants near by specially the Afghani. Metro supermarket is also three minutes walking. The room size is good enough and big. The breakfast is great and cost around $ 12.
The in house car parking is very expensive ($ 30), however lots of public parkings near by the hotel and the cost varies between $11 and $16 per day.
The concierge, Gretchen, was particularly helpful. The breakfasts were great.
The neighborhood seemed a bit dicey but I was only there for a day.
Good clean hotel - room well looked after and stocked - staff friendly and helpful - good in-house restaurant / bar
No major issues - prices in bar / restaurant and hotel shop a bit high. Hotel should try to do something about hassle caused by street beggars from outside the external street-side area of bar / restaurant - it is very off-putting to customers
Good price at a reasonable location in the city to the things I wanted to do and see.
The room was large and comfortable beds and had a fridge. Nice on site restaurant.
no free breakfast or parking.
Very affordable downtown hotel with a friendly staff and very reasonably priced breakfast buffet.
Proximity to Eaton Centre at Dundas Square - 7-10 minutes walk only. The room was comfortable. I like carpeted hotel rooms when I am visiting colder countries as they are cozy and thats what made me choose this hotel over Bond Place Hotel which was literally 3 minutes walk from the Eaton Centre
Despite paying extra for a cancellable reservation while booking on bookings.com, the hotel told me that I will have to pay the full length of original booking if I check out earlier. That was upsetting. The booking clearly said if cancelled upto 16:00 hours before arrival then no charges and in case of no show or later the first night will be charged. I fell under the 'or later' category and I expected to pay for the length of my actual stay and not the original booking. Thats what 'cancellable' means. If that's cancellable then whats 'non-refundable' thats cheaper to book! I thought I paid extra for the flexibility to get a refund if I check out earlier. However, at the time of check out they did not charge me the full length of the stay so it all ended well. But I spent my days there in stress of the amount I thought I had lost. They need to train the receptionist on what a cancellable reservation is so that she doesnt go around stressing guests. The central reservations should be taught the same who on phone told me that despite booking a cancellable reservation, ill have to pay in full. One word of advice for 3 star hotel travellers: if you are unsure of the length of your stay, book the bare minimum - they are always very cooperative when you extend - not so much when you check out earlier - even with a cancellable reservation.
Nice looking hotel throughout. Valet service is excellent. Hotel breakfast was very good. Area within distance to Yonge Street. Had stayed there in the past, hotel was under a different name then. Would stay there again.
Hotel rate was great. Valet service & breakfast at the hotel was pricey however excellent service and good meal.
good location, comfortable room, free wifi available
breakfast is not included
While staying at the hilton garden inn, I thought that the service was very good and the value was very good as well. Good dining choices and friendly staff made for a fun and easy stay.
